When the cashier gives me this amount of money for change I know it’s too much money to dump in the charity bucket…
In general, anything over $5. I do enjoy giving as much as I can, but, that being said, I have a limited budget. I have given small amounts on several visits before. I believe in give what you can, even if it is just something small.Any amount of coins is fine to me, as well as dollar bills. I usually hate when change piles up in my wallet anyways. Quarters are pretty handy to have, but I HATE pennies. I get rid of those as fast as I can, usually into my Buddha bank.
Typically, though, I don't have cash. It is rare for me to have cash because I mainly use my debit card. That also means I usually don't have any change to give. If I am somewhere like PetSmart and the card reader asks if I would like to donate, I will donate that way if I can.
