The last time I snooped into something I wasn’t supposed to (like a medicine cabinet in a friend’s bathroom), I found…
Snooping is just a no-no in my book. It sure is tempting to sneak a peek, but it isn't usually something you would want someone to do to you. So that is my policy. Even if I am tempted, I remind myself that it would annoy me to have someone looking through my stuff.I will admit that I have done it. I think everyone has at one point or another. I probably snooped as a teenager at my grandmother's house. I think I looked through her jewelry box. I found just that, jewelry. Nothing scandalous, haha!
I have "snooped" someone's online journal, but then again it was public and open for anyone to read. I don't really count that. If it is put online and is public, then, other than me being nosy, I am allowed to look (IMO, of course). I did find things that I was surprised about and made me not want to talk to this person as a result. In general, I think that if you don't want to risk finding something you don't like, don't look!
